AGA SPECIALISTS

We make sure that your AGA won’t let you down when you need it most.

Mark Pollard Heating Services are specialists in AGA servicing and repairs, with over 20 years of experience. We deliver fast and efficient AGA repairs, whatever the age or condition.

We also offer a comprehensive AGA installation and refurbishment service. We can build and commission your new AGA and get it up and working quickly and safely.

Perhaps you want to change the fuel supply to your AGA? Then we can completely refurbish your Aga, converting it from solid fuel to oil or gas-fired. If your old AGA needs a facelift, we can even re-enamel it so that it looks like new.

There are never any hidden costs, we always estimate our jobs in advance and let you know the price of any additional parts that are needed.

Routine Servicing

We recommend that your AGA is serviced regularly. An oil-fired AGA should normally be serviced every six months, a gas-fired AGA, once a year. Electric models should have safety inspections carried out yearly with a full service once every five years.

AGA Relocation Service

Is your AGA moving house or to another room? We offer a relocation service involving the decommissioning and re-installation of your AGA. We are happy to liaise with your builder to ensure the smooth transition of your AGA to its new home.

We regularly use and work with our partners at Mallows Aga Cleaning to ensure that any used or relocated AGA is fully cleaned and ready to cook in the most hygienic way.

ELECTRIC AGA CONVERSIONS ARE THE WAY FORWARD

Reduce the running costs of your AGA or Rayburn with a cooker conversion kit.

What we do

We convert your gas or oil fuelled AGA cooker to electricity. This keeps the traditional look of the original exterior while converting it to a more sustainable fuel source.

Our specialist engineers are fully qualified with more than 20 years experience working with AGAs, Rayburns, and domestic heating systems.

Installations are carried out in less than a day by our professional team who will ensure everything is clean and tidy following the conversion.

It's not all about the money

Converting your AGA to electricity will not only save you money on your bills but significantly reduce the time it takes to heat up, giving you greater flexibility and peace of mind.

Why convert your cooker to electricity?

SAVE MONEY

By converting to electricity you will save money on both your annual service costs and everyday running costs of your AGA. You’ll also avoid being stung by highly volatile oil prices.

In addition to this, shifts in oil quality have meant heat-storage cookers are more high maintenance than ever. This can result in increased call-out rates and higher running costs. The savings you will make from converting to electricity mean the payback period is relatively short.

CONVENIENCE

Traditional AGAs have not always been energy efficient. Now, through converting to electricity, your cooker will be almost as convenient as a modern oven.

After converting to electric the heating times are reduced significantly. The hobs reach cooker temperature in less than 15 minutes with the oven chamber reaching up to 200°C within just 1 hour 30 minutes; presenting you with new flexibility and also the ability to accurately control cooking temperatures and measure energy usage.

You will also find it much easier to manage throughout the seasons and achieve your perfect temperature the year round.

CLEAN AND CLEVER

By converting your AGA oven to electricity you avoid the various hassle and eyesores inherent in the original system. Using electricity instead of oil means you are no longer burning carbon fuels directly. And this means; no waste product, no carbon monoxide, no dirty ash, and no requirement for a bulky, unsightly fuel tank.

It also creates further flexibility for positioning your cooker as it’s no longer dependant on the location of the flue.
